The Single Life !

"The Single Life!" 

Lets just say it's not all good and it's not all bad. 

But, for the most part I am enjoying myself. I think the biggest challenge in being single is facing yourself. Its really you vs. you; at least for me on a mental note!

I started dating young, majority of my life I've been in and out of relationships. Some long term some short term. I never really gave myself enough time to learn who I was, what I liked and didn't like. I didn't know much about self love at the time. I was gullible with the idea of depending on other people for my own happiness. Being naive to the fact I was always putting someone else's feelings before my own. The point is it took me a long time to realize that I was doing more damage to myself than the person I was with. I had failed to put myself on that pedestal to be the number one priority. Of course its always better said then done; but hey we've all been there before right? It's either a blessing or a lesson!

You live and you learn. 

I'd like to think there are four stages you experience in being single:

 1. Acceptance - Accepting the fact your okay with being alone.

2. Healing- taking this time to truly heal and dig deep into those trust issues or what ever past trauma you've endured while being in a relationship. 

3. Self love- taking care of yourself mentally and physically, taking the time to build your own happiness.

4. Gaining control- once you're confident with who you are and what you want out of life, out of a relationship you wont allow anyone else's opinions interfere with what you've already decided.


I've went through all these phases and I love the person I am growing to be. Everyday comes with it challenges but its all about letting go and moving forward. The main goal is to be better then who you use to be. 

Take care of yourself    -      Believe in yourself     -     Enjoy yourself     -    Talk nice to yourself     -             Work on yourself       -     Respect yourself      -        Heal yourself     -     Love YOURSELF!!

Let's Have Girl Talk !

There's nothing like lounging around after a long day having a nice chat with a friend of yours while being accompanied by an open bottle of wine having some girl talk.  We all have besties we run to when we need to vent or just laugh with sometimes. I don't know about you guys but I love my friends I really enjoy hanging out with them, being able to open up and be comfortable just talking about anything. I call it the "Judge Free Zone" because these ladies cast no judgement! We have all been through the ringer when it comes to relationships or generally just dealing with certain situations in our lives.   I appreciate the open mindedness that these ladies share.  I'd like to introduce myself and tell you guys a little bit about who I am. My name is Tatyana, I'd describe myself as dedicated and driven, charismatic person, who's adventurous and has an optimistic type of personality. I'm a mother to the most precious little girl in "my" world. I'd also like to think of myself as a woman who has a lot of resilience. I've overcome a lot of obstacles that were put in my path to slow me down. Yet, by the grace of God I've managed to overcome those obstacles and continue to push through.  My life has always been centered around my family and friends.
